Background:
- There’s a Vietnamese blockbuster movie called “Tôi thấy hoa vàng trên cỏ xanh”/“I see yellow flowers on the green grass”. The name makes a lovely rhythm when you say it out loud.
- I have three cats who are big fans of this movie, so they use that lovely rhythm in their everyday conversation.
The idea:
I document my cats’ conversation using a low cost phone camera and post them online. Guess what, the album gets more than 2000 shares overnight and is featured on national newspapers (not to mention the pages that download and reupload the album without letting my cats know). The cats are now celebs and I’m their servant.
